You can pay anywhere from $89 to $350 for dryer vent cleaning in the Twin Cities. The spread comes from vent location, what's actually included, and whether the company adds trip fees after quoting a teaser rate.
What drives the price
- Vent location. Roof vents cost more everywhere because of ladder and roof work. Expect a $50–$100 premium.
- Duct length. Some companies bill by the foot. We don't; our flat rate covers up to 35 feet.
- Add-ons. Bird nest removal, cap replacement, hose replacement and camera inspection are legitimate extras when you need them, and upsells when you don't.
- Trip and fuel fees. Common with franchises. Ask before booking.
- Bundling. Air duct cleaning companies often quote dryer vents cheap as an add-on, then do a quick job without clearing the cap.

Is it worth it?
A restricted vent adds 15–30 minutes per load. For a family doing 8 loads a week that is roughly $80–$120 a year in energy, plus a shorter dryer life and a real fire risk. One cleaning pays for itself inside a year.
